THE PATH TO REAL ESTATE
 
Edith remembers the thought of going back to work.  After some years at home with her youngest child she was ready to return to the workforce and trying to decide on a career.  She'd always enjoyed working but was looking for more flexibility than she'd had in the past.  Her friend suggested real estate and a light went off in Edith's head.  Real estate was a profession that her father had spent most of his adult life in -- focusing on farms and land development.
 
Edith had always looked up to her father.  "Do right and fear not" is a motto that graces his life and his bookshelf to this day.  Amazingly, going into real estate had never even crossed Edith's mind but made perfect sense when her friend suggested it.  After all, Edith enjoys meeting and being with people, is a good listener, and has the patience it takes to move people through what can sometimes be a stressful process.
